Young Copyists at the Gallery
A showcase of Prva gimnazija Maribor students', II. gimnazija Maribor students' and older group of Saturday workshops participants' (8–14 years old) literary and painting artworks.

With the help of the artworks from UGM Collection, the young creatives gained experiences in detailed observing, understanding and experiencing artistic, as well as literary recreating. They devoted their attention to pictures, drawings and other types of artworks for an extended period of time, in order to transfer the visual content from an original onto a new medium and into newly written stories. Students were accompanied by the following mentors: academic painter and professor Natalija R. Črnčec, academic painter Vid Koprivšek, academic painter and professor Milan Ketiš, poetess Nina Medved, alongside with students of art history Klara Zadravec and Jan Slaček.

The programme is a part of Summer Museum Night in UGM.
